Who we are

This website is managed by the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research. We are a publicly funded organisation established by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Our aim is to connect Czech education with the world and help students, schools and organisations benefit from international opportunities.

What we do

Study in Czechia helps you navigate the offer of Czech higher education institutions, student life, scholarships, and opportunities after graduation. Whether you are choosing a university, studying in Czechia, or thinking about your next step after graduation, you will find clear information, useful contacts, and concrete opportunities here.

• We support students, schools and organisations in gaining international experience, for example through study stays abroad, volunteering projects, or cooperation between schools.

• We administer European and national programmes that support international education and cooperation, especially Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps, intergovernmental scholarship programmes and others.

• Through the Study in Czechia initiative, we promote Czech higher education abroad.

• We manage the national Czechia Alumni programme for international students and graduates of Czech universities.

• We maintain ties with Czech communities abroad and support the promotion of the Czech language and Czech culture worldwide.

• We are active in international networks, such as eTwinning, Eurydice, and Eurodesk.

• We provide information, advisory and analytical services in the field of education and monitor current trends.
