Upload the required documents, usually an identity document, previous academic records, a motivation letter and, where applicable, proof of English proficiency. The Admissions Office reviews everything and contacts you if anything is missing. It covers your motivation, academic goals and fit for the programme. The Admissions Committee reviews your application and emails the decision. After graduating, you will be well prepared for further studies in art history, curatorial studies and studio art. You can also pursue global artistic careers in museums and galleries, curation and management, art criticism and academia. Other options include conservation, advertising, marketing, public administration, cultural NGOs and research. AAU’s broad arts education also develops skills that transfer beyond traditional creative fields: critical thinking, empathy, visual literacy and the ability to interpret human experience.
