The follow-up Master’s study programme “Logistics” responds to the need for professionals in logistics and logistic technologies. You will become a technically educated specialist able to translate ideas into practical solutions. This professionally oriented field reflects sector requirements in theory and practical skills. The programme was discussed with university experts and business representatives cooperating with VSTE through professional associations. The Department of Transport and Logistics is a member of the South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce, Czech Logistics Association, Association of forwarding and logistics of the Czech Republic and the Transport Union of the Czech Republic. Experts from practice teach in the programme. You will learn to manage the whole supply chain, including goods, cash and information flow. You will ensure, manage and design logistic systems, warehouses, distribution systems and reverse flow of goods, optimise technologies and systems, propose their optimisation and realise complex projects. You will also be prepared for doctoral study programmes in transport and logistics and for research and development of technologies and management methods.

As a graduate, you will be able to manage the whole supply chain in positions such as: goods, cash and information flow specialist logistic systems manager warehouse manager distribution systems manager reverse flow specialist specialist in technologies and systems optimization After successful completion, you will have the necessary knowledge and skills for a broad logistics profile and for further specialisation in specific logistics fields and technologies. You can build this specialisation through practical experience, within the field of study or in a follow-up doctoral study programme. You will also be prepared for doctoral study programmes focused on transport and logistics and for using your knowledge in research and development of technologies and methods for transport systems and logistics management.
