In this study programme, you will develop an understanding of transformations of geographical systems and address the challenges of socio-environmental development at various institutional scales and in different regional contexts. The programme focuses on the interconnections between socioeconomic, cultural and environmental processes and their manifestations in space and place. It prepares experts able to analyse transformational processes and propose solutions for strategic, regional and environmental planning.

Study

Graduates can pursue careers as experts in strategic, regional and environmental planning, in research institutions, universities, public administration and organisations dealing with sustainable development and adaptation strategies. Thanks to their ability to analyse complex socio-environmental processes, they can also work on international projects focused on environmental change, territorial development and public policy design.
