Graduates of the "Biology and Biochemistry" programme will possess comprehensive knowledge and skills in the fields of biology and biochemistry, enabling you to adapt flexibly to workplace requirements. The programme is designed to provide a broad theoretical and practical knowledge base, affording graduates significant flexibility in their professional careers. As a graduate, you will have the requisite competencies for involvement in research and development in pharmaceutical companies, biotechnological companies, or scientific institutions. You can find employment in laboratories focused on the biochemical analysis and quality control of food, pharmaceuticals, or environmental samples. Graduates may work in organizations aimed at nature conservation and biodiversity. They can engage in research in areas such as molecular biology, genetics, or microbiology. Graduates may also find opportunities in governmental institutions responsible for the regulation and control of chemical substances and biotechnological products. Additionally, as a graduate, you will possess strong language competencies, facilitating their employability in an international context. Their interdisciplinary education makes them attractive to employers from various sectors, including roles in marketing and commerce in fields where they have specialized knowledge. As a graduate, you will be able to apply knowledge of biology and biochemistry in the context of sustainable development. They will be able to: - carry out environmental analyses, interpret data, and propose solutions for the protection of water resources, - communicate results professionally and in a way that is understandable to the public and public authorities, - use modern technologies for ecosystem monitoring and restoration. The gained skills are essential for work in laboratories, research institutions, and environmental protection. These competencies increase graduates' employability in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, environmental management, and public administration.
Tuition fee is 3000 EUR per academic year.
