This doctoral study programme focuses on independent scientific research in silviculture. It develops advanced knowledge of forest regeneration, growth and development of forest stands, silvicultural systems and adaptation of forests to changing environmental and climatic conditions. You may work as researchers, silviculture specialists or consultants in sustainable forest management and adaptation strategies.

Study fee

Doctoral studies are generally provided without tuition fees and are associated with doctoral stipends. Full‑time Ph.D. students receive a doctoral study income, the minimum level of which is set by legal regulations and currently amounts to approximately CZK 25,000 per month; in practice, it may be higher depending on involvement in research projects, publication activity, and other academic duties.
