The bachelor's degree programme in Applied Informatics prepares you as a professional capable of designing, implementing and operating information systems that support socio-economic processes in various types of organisations, including public administration institutions. Since the current global labour market requires globally-minded IT specialists with knowledge and skills corresponding to the current needs of practice not only in the field of information technology, but also in the areas of management, organisation, economics, business and law, the above-mentioned knowledge is suitably complemented by the fundamentals of other disciplines such as economics, accounting, finance, marketing, management, law and many others. Graduates of this programme thus acquire a very good economic foundation that will complement their professional education well.

After graduation, you will be able to: - practically use analytical knowledge and skills in selection, evaluation and implementation of information systems, - analyse and practically implement solutions to real-world problems in the field of databases, software engineering, information processing, and information systems design, - innovatively use and conceptually support the operation and development of enterprise information systems in companies, - solve independent projects both in the Czech Republic and on a global level, then present and defend the results in discussions, not only in Czech but also in English. - have a broad professional specialization focused on professional knowledge in the field of computer science combined with a very good economic background.
