The master's degree programme in Arts Management prepares you for the performance of managerial functions at the level of middle and senior management of cultural organisations and institutions and university professionals for the field of business in individual segments of culture. Teaching in Arts Management consists in the systematic application of economic tools in the practice of cultural management and in strengthening the practical orientation of teaching.
After graduation, you will be able to: - master the analysis of economic processes in cultural organisations, - create financial plans of economic entities and organisations in culture, - perform evaluation of cultural events, festivals and operation of monuments, - create strategies for the development of companies and organisations in culture, - innovate and modernize cultural policy of municipalities, cities and regions in a dynamic economic environment, - creatively involve culture in the resource potential of the development of cities and regions and formulate the basic strategy of municipal marketing.
The Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) is the largest economics-focused university in Czechia and one of the leading business schools in Central and Eastern Europe. You can choose from degree programmes in economics, finance, management, informatics and international relations, taught in Czech and English. During your studies, you build analytical thinking, data skills and the ability to apply theory in real-world contexts. The international AACSB accreditation confirms the quality of education at VŠE.
