The aim of the bachelor’s degree programme in Data Analytics prepares you with competencies covering the entire data analytics process – from data acquisition, storage, and cleaning through analysis and modelling to the interpretation and presentation of results. The programme combines knowledge from computer science and economics: students gain an understanding of the business environment and acquire skills in quantitative modelling of economic processes, while also learning how to collect and process data from various sources, apply modern machine learning methods, and automate analytical procedures for practical use. Graduates’ employability is further strengthened by preparation for work in an international environment, including the teaching of selected courses in English.

Study

After graduation, you will be able to: - understand data in various contexts with an emphasis on their economic dimension, - obtain information from primary and secondary sources in a correct and efficient manner, - work with modern data storage architectures, including data transfer, cleaning, quality control, and data consolidation, - use appropriate software tools for data analytics, - apply modern statistical methods and machine learning tools for advanced data analysis, - present the results of data analyses clearly and effectively in both Czech and English.
