The aim of the bachelor’s degree programme Economic Data Analysis and Mathematical Modelling is to educate versatile professionals in statistical data analysis and optimization methods with a strong economic focus, with career opportunities in both the private and public sectors. The programme combines theoretical knowledge of statistical, econometric and demographic methods with their practical application in an economic context. Thanks to the possibility of specialization through four specialized course blocks, graduates are prepared for a wide range of professions and for future changes in labour market requirements.

Study

After graduation, you will be able to: - select and apply appropriate analytical methods to address descriptive, predictive and causal problems, - model and analyse economic reality using statistical, econometric and demographic methods, - optimise processes in businesses as well as in public administration, - interpret the results of analytical methods in an economic context, - work with modern software tools such as R or Python, - present the results of their work clearly and accurately.
