The bachelor's degree programme in Economic Data Science is to form graduates with a broad outlook and skills in the field of economic data analysis. The programme is based on three pillars that are strongly interrelated. In order to understand the relationships between economic indicators and to interpret the results correctly, an analyst must have both knowledge and skills in economics, statistics and econometrics, and the ability to interrelate these knowledge and skills to understand possibilities and limits of the explanatory power of economic models and the indicators used.

After graduation, you will be able to: - assess the validity of data, its quality and relevance to the problem at hand in a broader context, - work with large datasets, edit data into a suitable form for analysis, - apply basic and advanced statistical and econometric methods to datasets, - practically test the validity of theoretical economic models and interpret their results on actual real data, - appropriately present the results of the analysis.
The Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) is the largest economics-focused university in Czechia and one of the leading business schools in Central and Eastern Europe. You can choose from degree programmes in economics, finance, management, informatics and international relations, taught in Czech and English.
