Study

After completing the study programme, you will be able to: - use theoretical knowledge of advanced macroeconomics, microeconomics, quantitative methods in economics, monetary and fiscal economics in the open economy. - analyse and evaluate basic theoretical and practical concepts of the development of economic and political decision making in the 20th and 21st century. - understand mutual relations between economic theory, economic policy and purely political concepts, which disturb spontaneous market conformity process. - distinguish individual interest groups and their relation to the economic policy makers. - apply the theory of public choice to practical policies of economic and political subjects. - distinguish actual development of economic policy from virtual reality created by mediacratic and interest groups.

The Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) is the largest economics-focused university in Czechia and one of the leading business schools in Central and Eastern Europe.
