Study

After graduation, you will be able to: - navigate advanced theories of economic growth and business cycles in a small open economy environment, - formulate an economic problem, solve optimization problems and use this to construct market equilibrium models, - describe in detail processes of money creation and transmission mechanisms of money in the economy and orient themselves in the institutional set-up of financial markets, - apply economic principles to seemingly non-market areas such as family, health, crime, psychology, etc., - conduct empirical research from specific data using the construction of economic or econometric models.

The Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) is the largest economics-focused university in Czechia and one of the leading business schools in Central and Eastern Europe.
