The study programme prepares teachers of economic subjects as a regulated profession in the context of the Education Act, the Teaching Staff Act and related regulations primarily for the network of secondary and higher vocational schools. In the master's degree programme, the professional, pedagogical-psychological and didactic competences, important for the qualified performance of the teaching profession, are expanded, profiled and deepened for the field of Education.

Study

After completing the programme, you will gain: - professional economic competences corresponding to the Master’s degree at the Prague University of Economics and Business, enabling you to teach economic subjects in secondary education with professional insight; - knowledge and skills in pedagogy, educational psychology, didactics and special didactics of economic subjects, aligned with the teacher competence framework; - pedagogical and didactic competences for analysing and innovating curricula, transforming economic knowledge into educational content, working with students’ mentality, choosing educational strategies and leading motivating teaching; - the ability to select, design and use modern teaching aids, didactic technology, your own teaching aids, LMS and ICT applications; - the ability to conceive, organise and implement standard and integrated forms of learning and manage pedagogical work in the professional, psychological and social context of schools; - the ability to evaluate pedagogical performance and self-evaluate your work for continuous improvement, educational quality and professional development.
