The Fintech programme focuses on the interconnection of three key areas: finance, financial technology and data analytics. The study programme aims to prepare graduates for the extensive application of information technology in the financial sector, future changes in the functioning of financial markets in connection with the development of financial technology and the possibilities of using large data sources in client servicing, risk management and search for investment opportunities. The sub-objectives are to deepen the integration of knowledge in finance and technology, to enable the application of theoretical models in finance and fintech companies, to enhance students' abilities to analyse large data sets used in financial companies, to help students acquire practical skills to deal with real business situations in implementing fintech technologies, to understand financial technologies and to be able to exploit their business potential. The study program is professionally oriented, so the teaching of subjects is largely provided by teachers with real experience from the practice of financial or technology companies.

After completing the study programme, you will: - has detailed knowledge and practical skills in the functioning of the financial sector, risk management, financial regulation and new trends in financial markets, - is familiar with the use of information technologies in various segments of the financial market and with the offer of modern financial services linking financial products and digital technologies, last but not least, graduates will gain extensive knowledge in data mining and data analysis methods, - as part of a company project and professional practice, they will acquire skills in the use of financial technologies in real-life practice, by collaborating with a number of corporate partners, they will be able to solve real-world problems in the implementation of financial technology, - can apply his/her knowledge in different phases of development and implementation of these technologies, - is prepared to work in financial and technology-oriented companies, e.g., as a fintech analyst, data analyst, financial analyst, project manager for financial technology application, financial manager or controller.
