The bachelor's degree programme in International Business is to train economists equipped with a standard framework of knowledge in economics, business administration, law, statistics and mathematics, with superior language skills, specialised in international trade issues in the context of a changing global environment. The core values of the discipline are respect for the ethical dimension of international business, readiness to work in a multicultural environment and the ability to respond flexibly to the changing conditions of the international economy.

After completing the programme, you will: - understand the world economy, financial markets, economic entities, market failures and their solutions, elementary mathematics, probability theory, descriptive statistics and information technology; - navigate commercial and labour law and apply it in corporate and business practice; - understand business opportunities in the global market and analyse and use them while respecting ethics and sustainability; - understand the multilateral trading system, international business operations and negotiations with foreign partners; - know retailing methods and procedures, including goods flow management and territorial analysis; - communicate orally and in writing in at least two world languages at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; - identify business opportunities and strategies in different cultural, political and geographical contexts; - draw implications for business cases from the world economy, macroeconomic changes and international business law; - make managerial decisions using marketing and financial management tools and process international business operations with legal and financial support.
The Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) is the largest economics-focused university in Czechia and one of the leading business schools in Central and Eastern Europe.
