The master's degree programme in Management is the professional preparation of middle and senior managers in various types of organisations who are equipped with advanced knowledge in the field of management, strategic management, quantitative methods of decision-making and research in a wide range of social disciplines. Graduates possess advanced analytical and critical thinking skills and understand and actively promote a sustainable and ethical approach to business and to addressing societal challenges in a global context. They can present and defend their own ideas in a professional forum or in a professional discussion, even in a foreign language. Graduates also have the prerequisites for further professional education in doctoral study programmes or professional, vocational and lifelong learning programmes.

After completing the programme, you will be able to: - critically evaluate and apply theories, concepts and methods from advanced theoretical and applied economic and managerial disciplines at Master’s level, especially strategic management, strategic marketing, managerial economics, managerial decision-making, economics and economic policy, sustainable development management and regional management; - identify the essence of economic problems and solve them using theoretical and practical knowledge; - acquire, analyse, evaluate and interpret structured and unstructured data from the internal and external environment of organisations using quantitative decision-making, qualitative research, statistical tools and modern communication and information technologies; - formulate ideas clearly in writing and speech, present conclusions in a professional forum and defend them in professional discussion, including in a foreign language, especially English; - define tasks for team members, coordinate teamwork, solve problems and conflicts and respond assertively.
