Innovation and Industrial Engineering is not limited solely to the design or technological aspects of engineering. Its aim is to prepare graduates for activities throughout the entire innovation or product life cycle. From the initial idea to the optimisation of the manufacturing process, the study programmeme teaches students how to manage innovation, create concepts for new products, systematically and creatively generate concepts for innovated products, develop, design, test, and improve products, and subsequently design, innovate, or optimise the manufacturing process, including workplaces, cells, lines, and layouts. You acquire knowledge of the design and construction of components and assemblies, master advanced methods of innovation creativity, and understand the principles behind effective project planning and management. They learn to work with modern engineering materials, modelling methods, and prototype manufacturing. The study programmeme focuses on ensuring that knowledge is aligned with the latest trends in technical innovation and industrial engineering. Graduates acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that enable them to design, innovate, and optimise manufacturing processes in accordance with the requirements of modern industry.

Study

A graduate will acquire comprehensive and mutually interconnected knowledge, possessing relevant theoretical knowledge in the field of innovation science and industrial engineering, as well as practical skills required for the effective implementation of the innovation process related to technical innovations. This includes knowledge and skills in the methodology of planning and managing innovation projects, the systematic generation of concepts for innovated products, the design and structural solution of components and assemblies, modelling including relevant technical calculations, the application of CAD technologies, measurement and experimentation, the systematic review and evaluation of design solutions, the protection of innovative solutions, and the design, innovation, or optimisation of manufacturing processes using artificial intelligence tools and digital factory technologies, including CAM, ERP, and simulation. By applying the acquired knowledge, methodologies, and skills, graduates of the study programmeme will contribute to the acquisition and expansion of new knowledge in engineering based on the application of natural sciences. The form and content of the study programmeme are aimed at preparing and educating graduates who possess deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the systematic and professional solution of problems related to product and process innovation.
