Master degree programmeme Mechatronics offers a carefully selected blend of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Cybernetics, and Computer Engineering. The graduates have excellent career prospects in the smart factories of future as well as in research and public institutions. Optionally this study programmeme can be provided in cooperation with the University of Applied Studies Zittau/Görlitz in Germany. Students who choose this option will be awarded with two master’s degrees: from the Technical University of Liberec and from the University of Applied Studies Zittau/Görlitz.

Study

Thanks to the structure of the study programme, graduates will acquire the necessary knowledge in the following areas: • technical cybernetics, mechatronic systems, robotics, and computer technology, • modeling, technical measurement, and experimental methods, • information and communication technologies, • design and implementation of control systems, including those supported by artificial intelligence. Graduates are able to: • verify new manufacturing processes, establish methods for quality control and technical testing, and collaborate on production quality management, • evaluate, improve, and design business processes in industrial sectors, • apply techniques of machine perception, robotics, and knowledge engineering.
