The aim of the programme is to prepare highly educated professionals capable of independent creative work, who will find employment in manufacturing companies or government agencies, as well as in the field of research and development, whether in the corporate sector or conducted at specialized research institutes and universities. Given the inherently interdisciplinary nature of mechatronics studies and the diversity of its applications, graduates can also find employment outside of traditional technical fields, such as in healthcare or finance.
Apply online via the study agenda information system of the Technical University of Liberec (IS/STAG TUL). The online application form is available here: https://stag.tul.cz/portal/studium/uchazec/informace.html?pc_lang=cs
Graduates of the Mechatronics programme acquire the necessary knowledge in the fields of cybernetics and automatic control, mechatronic systems, robotics, electrical engineering, information and communication technologies, as well as technical measurement and experimental methods. They are therefore capable of designing and implementing large-scale systems for controlling technological processes, equipment for the generation and transmission of electrical energy, and automated and robotic production lines, as well as smaller embedded systems for controlling individual machines or vehicles and their individual components and assemblies. Key to their success are a deep understanding of the mathematical and physical principles underlying the technologies they work with, as well as extensive knowledge in the field of systems theory and control. Particularly in the second year of study, future graduates have the opportunity to freely shape their academic profile by selecting from a range of required elective courses.
Technical University of Liberec (TUL) is a modern public university with more than seventy years of tradition. It connects engineering, natural sciences, economics, education, healthcare and the arts, and links education with research and practice. You will study at a university known for cooperation with industry partners, innovation and applied research.
