Technická univerzita v Liberci - Fakulta strojní
The study programmeme places emphasis not only on traditional areas of mechanical engineering, but also on new knowledge and current trends in the development of a competitive mechanical engineering industry. It prepares students to solve problems encountered in industrial practice, and graduates acquire the necessary basic theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the natural and technical sciences. The comprehensive and mutually interconnected study provides a foundation for successful employment in the labour market or for continuing in follow-up Master’s study programmemes. In the first three semesters, the study includes a common core. From the fourth semester onwards, students may shape their profile through the selection of compulsory elective courses, the focus of their professional practice, bachelor’s project, or bachelor’s thesis in six offered areas: robotics and automation, computer modelling, machine and equipment design, power engineering, sustainable mobility, and materials, technologies, and nanotechnologies.
