The graduate of the study programme General Nursing is a qualified healthcare professional prepared to provide professional nursing care to individuals, families, and communities in various healthcare and social care institutions. The graduate possesses theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the fields of prevention, diagnostics, treatment, rehabilitation, and health promotion. They are able to independently perform nursing activities, participate in multidisciplinary teamwork, and provide care for patients of all age groups with respect to their individual needs. Graduates are prepared to work in public and private inpatient healthcare institutions, outpatient healthcare facilities, social care institutions, long-term care hospitals, hospices, rehabilitation and spa facilities, as well as other organizations focused on healthcare and social services. Thanks to the acquired competencies, graduates are able to apply modern approaches in nursing practice, communicate effectively with patients and their families, and actively contribute to improving the quality of provided care.
