Students in this programme acquire knowledge of German Studies and specialist subjects focused on management practice. The philological part of the programme includes language study for communication, linguistic and cultural studies, while the specialist part includes subjects such as translation, communication practice in the Czech language, fundamentals of law, fundamentals of finance, business economics, management, marketing, sociology and political science. Both components are equally represented, thus creating an ideal graduate profile of a student who will be very well equipped linguistically while also mastering management-related disciplines. Among other things, the professionally oriented subjects aim to provide students with practical knowledge for working in the European Union. An integral part of the study programme is also the acquisition of skills in working with computer and information technology. The range of elective courses in the third year is designed to supplement, in an interesting and practical way, the knowledge acquired in compulsory courses in the lower years.
