Have you successfully completed the Bachelor’s programme in General Nursing and would you like to take your career to the next level? We offer you the follow-up Master’s degree programme Home Care and Hospice Care, which will prepare you for advanced nursing practice focused on the abilities and independence of individuals. As a specialist nurse, you will be able to help those who need not only professional care, but also a humane approach and psychological support. The programme focuses not only on mastering care in challenging phases of illness, but also on supporting patients and their families at the end of life – always with the utmost respect for their dignity and wishes.

A graduate of the professionally oriented follow-up Master’s study programme Home Care and Hospice Care obtains specialised competence as a Home and Hospice Care Nurse for Adults according to applicable legislation and is prepared to independently provide, coordinate and ensure basic, specialised and highly specialised nursing and palliative care in the home environment, hospices, long-term care facilities and other healthcare settings. The graduate will be able to provide care to incurably ill patients, make decisions in accordance with professional competence and legal regulations, participate in preventive, diagnostic, rehabilitation and dispensary care, and apply newly acquired knowledge and skills in both theoretical and practical instruction. Thanks to the clinical experience and managerial competences acquired, the graduate will find employment in specialist and managerial positions in the field of home, hospice and palliative care.
