Univerzita Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně - Fakulta aplikované informatiky
Did you enjoy applied informatics in your bachelor's degree? This field will deepen your education, especially in the area of using computer technology in programming, data processing and database systems, operating systems and computer networks. You will also focus on the transfer of information via the Internet. You will also become familiar with measurement, optimization, technical and theoretical cybernetics or subjects of an economic and managerial nature.
The aim of the academically focused study programme Information Technology is to prepare experts in the areas of Software Engineering and Cybersecurity within two specific specializations. The common basis of the specializations is characterized by knowledge in the areas of artificial intelligence, mobile technologies, intelligent networks, parallel programming, mathematical statistics, architecture of modern processors and logic circuits. The graduate is able to implement software solutions, evaluate and analyze key processes and actively intervene in them in accordance with the desired goals. The graduate of the Software Engineering specialization is able to design, model, compile and implement software projects using modern advanced methods and techniques. He is also able to assess, test these solutions and, after deployment in production, maintain their functionality throughout their life cycle. The graduate of the Cybersecurity specialization is able to use cryptographic methods to protect knowledge and data, test security from simple applications to large-scale and system solutions, analyze malicious software, design, model, test, compile and implement secure solutions.
