The aim of the Population Protection academic study programme is to equip the graduate with basic theoretical knowledge and skills that are important for his / her future employment, for example in the following positions: members of Integrated Rescue Service Units, Security and Safety Manager, OSH Manager, Senior Security Officer and other related professions. The study combines support for the development of systemic thinking in relation to the ways of solving professional and operational tasks in society, but also in everyday life. It develops students' creativity, their social communication, quantitative and combinational skills, innovative thinking, which is accompanied by a significant development of technological change.

Graduates of the Bachelor degree programme of Population Protection will acquire a knowledge applicable in various professions of crisis management executives at the level of municipalities exposed to risk aspects and municipalities with extended authority. At the same time, they will find employment in the state administration, private business entities, in the components of the integrated rescue system and fire protection.
