The Master’s programme in Automatic Control is interdisciplinary in nature and aims to prepare university-educated specialists for technical and control-related positions across various industrial sectors. The programme integrates theoretical and applied knowledge in automation, control engineering, computer science, and related technical disciplines. You will gain competencies in the design, development, operation, and maintenance of control systems, as well as in measurement, regulation, process visualization, production optimization, and control system safety. The application to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the University of Pardubice is submitted electronically via the e-application system. Applicants select a study programme, fill in the required information, and submit the application online; it is neither printed nor sent by post. After registration, a field-specific application number is generated, which can be used to track the application status. The process includes payment of an administrative fee of CZK 650, which is non-refundable and must be paid for each application by bank transfer or online payment. The application is considered submitted only after the fee has been paid.

Study

Graduates of the programme possess advanced knowledge of automatic control theory, artificial intelligence, soft computing methods, identification and modelling of dynamic systems, mechatronics, robotics, and industrial control software systems. Through elective courses, they further expand their expertise in signal measurement and processing, optimization, industrial networks, and system reliability and security. They are able to identify problems, analyse them, design solutions, develop algorithms, and verify their functionality through simulation and experimental testing, followed by implementation in real applications. They combine theoretical knowledge with modern software and hardware tools, including current trends in artificial intelligence and robotics. Graduates find employment in research and development, industry, as programmers, developers, system integrators, or in technical-commercial roles.
