We’ll teach you everything there is to know about taxes. You’ll be able to calculate them, review tax returns, and understand financial statements and financial reports. You’ll have no trouble distinguishing between tax-deductible and non-deductible expenses, and you’ll be able to handle tax credits as well. In addition, you’ll understand public and regional finances and budgets, and financial analysis will be second nature to you. Practical experience at the tax office, which you can complete during your studies, will help you with everything.

Study

You will be able to correctly identify and determine taxes and know how to ensure their payment. You will be able to calculate tax liabilities for both direct and indirect taxes. You will learn to review filed tax returns, identify anomalies in financial statements, notes to the financial statements, or annual reports, and you will know how to proceed to ensure that the correct amount of tax is collected. You will know how tax proceedings are conducted, what tax procedures entail, and you will also be familiar with judicial review of decisions by the Financial Administration. You will gain broader knowledge in the areas of public finance and public budgets, as well as local and regional finance. However, you will also be able to apply this knowledge in the private sector, as you will be able to complete tax returns for both individuals and legal entities. You will be familiar with tax-deductible and non-deductible expenses, deductible items, and tax credits. You will also quickly become proficient in reading financial statements and will be able to calculate basic financial analysis metrics.
