Study

The doctoral degree programme of Surface Engineering can be understood as an interdisciplinary branch of study that covers the chemistry and technology of both materislas and surfaces, together with applied coatings and layers. A graduate froem doctoral study programme is higly educated expert who skilled in the surface treatment of various materials, coatings and the thin films based on macromolecular, organic, inorganic substances and composites. Based on their knowledges and skills, the graduate will be able to introduce the results of research and develompment of polymer and composite materials, advanced inorganic and organic compounds for organic coatings, polymers and thin films into technical practise. They will also be able to work with rapidly developing applications and the introductions of these new materials into production technologies.
