The Bachelor's degree programme in Agroecology combines elements of traditional farming with an emphasis on sustainability. It is a practice-oriented programme through which You acquire solid foundations in agriculture, with an overlap into organic farming, agricultural landscape management, and related activities. Students can also choose courses in social farming or activities connected with agriculture, such as fisheries or game management. Graduates of the Agroecology programme obtain a Bachelor's degree and can pursue careers in agricultural enterprises and related fields, or continue their studies at the Master's level. During the standard three-year study period, students complete both general courses focused on the biological foundations of agriculture and practically oriented agricultural subjects. Their qualifications can be further enhanced by courses in agricultural landscape management or organic farming. Students also have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at partner universities or undertake international internships.
Submit the electronic application by the deadline and provide the required documents. Upload officially verified annual secondary school reports to the portal as PDFs from authorised conversion – Czech POINT; for the final year, upload the mid-year report if you have not yet completed studies. You may also submit a cumulative record electronically signed by the headmaster. If you have passed the maturita, upload an officially verified copy of the maturita certificate as a PDF from authorised conversion – Czech POINT. Applicants who have completed secondary education submit it with the application; final-year students no later than the end of June. Ranking is based on secondary school results and admission continues up to the set quota. There is no entrance exam for Bc. study programmes.
Graduates of the Bachelor’s programme in Agroecology possess solid knowledge of agriculture, biology, and sustainable farming practices. They have practical skills in both conventional and organic farming, as well as an understanding of agricultural landscape management and related activities. They are able to apply sustainability principles and address real-world agricultural challenges. You can pursue careers in agricultural enterprises, services, or the public sector, or continue their studies at the Master’s level. During their studies, they may also develop expertise in areas such as social farming, fisheries, or game management, and gain international experience.
