The follow-up Master’s degree programme in Agroecology is structured into two specialisations: Landscape Management and Ecological Agriculture. You prepare for a wide range of professional activities focused on sustainable agricultural practices, environmental protection, and landscape management. The programme provides graduates of grammar schools and secondary vocational schools with both theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for employment in agricultural enterprises, family farms, and environmental organisations. You acquire knowledge of natural sciences, including ecology, biology, chemistry, and soil science, as well as an understanding of processes in agricultural ecosystems. These competencies are complemented by knowledge of environmentally friendly farming systems, sustainable land management, and the principles of ecological agriculture. Emphasis is placed on the protection of natural resources, biodiversity conservation, and the relationship between agricultural activities and the landscape. You will be able to apply principles of sustainable development, analyse environmental impacts of agricultural production, and propose appropriate solutions in practice. They find employment in agricultural primary production, environmental and advisory organisations, public administration, and enterprises focused on ecological farming and landscape care. The best graduates may continue their studies in a follow-up master’s degree programme.
For follow-up Master’s programmes, provide proof of proper completion of a Bachelor’s programme.
