The goal of the Applied Computer Science bachelor’s programme is to prepare professionals equipped for the real world who can systematically solve a wide range of problems in the field of applied computer science by applying the knowledge and skills they have acquired using modern methods and technologies. You acquire these skills during their studies through active participation in solving practical problems and by familiarizing themselves with new findings in the fields of theoretical and applied computer science. Their professional profile predisposes them to analytical thinking and the ability to define requirements in the areas of security, networks, and information systems, including basic knowledge of embedded systems, which is necessary both for further engineering studies and, above all, for future professional practice.

Absolventi profesně zaměřeného bakalářského studijního programu Aplikovaná informatika získají komplexní soubor odborných znalostí, praktických dovedností a obecných způsobilostí v oblasti informatiky. Disponují jak pevnými teoretickými základy zejména v oblastech teoretické informatiky, matematiky a strojového učení, tak širokým portfoliem praktických dovedností v oblastech aplikované informatiky, programování, zpracování dat či informační a síťové bezpečnosti.Absolvent bude kvalifikovaným odborníkem s rozsáhlými znalostmi podloženými solidním matematickým aparátem, který je schopen tyto znalosti efektivně a komplexně aplikovat při řešení problémů akademické i aplikační praxe v klíčových oblastech ICT. Získané kompetence mu umožňují dále rozvíjet a prohlubovat své znalosti i dovednosti v rámci odborného růstu či navazujícího studia.
