Study

The FA USB doctoral study graduate gets full education in the field of archaeology at a level comparable to doctoral programmes of similar focus, offered at other universities in the Czechia and abroad. By completing all compulsory and optional courses as well as writing and successfully defending their dissertation, the graduate will become a mature and professionally qualified researcher, able to operate in the academic environment as well as other institutions in the field of archaeology in the Czechia and abroad. The graduate will be able to perform scientific work independently, both in methodological and theoretical respect, will be able to lead scientific projects individually, write scientific publications, lecture at universities, and will have sufficient knowledge of languages for working at foreign workplaces.
