This programme prepares you to prepare graduates primarily for employment in the corporate sector, particularly in economic departments with a focus on finance and accounting, as well as in the public sector (tax authorities, regional and municipal administrations, public enterprises) and financial institutions (banks, leasing companies, insurance firms). The programme builds on prior Bachelor’s studies in Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Economics, University of South Bohemia, or in related fields. It is aligned with the requirements of the Union of Accountants of the Czechia within the national certification system, enabling recognition of selected examinations. The programme is also accredited by ACCA, allowing exemptions from certain exams within this international qualification framework. Opportunities for study abroad are an integral part of the programme.

You will be able to analyse and evaluate economic and financial data, understand the development of individual sectors of the economy or the impact of economic developments on companies and organisations, work with knowledge that will enable them to find a job in the international labour market in the corporate, financial (especially in banking) and government sectors (state and local government). Graduate destinations include financial and investment analyst, financial controller, leading controlling specialist, financial manager, financial accountant, chief accountant, IFRS specialist.
