The Bachelor’s programme in Finance and Accounting is intended for applicants interested in financial decision-making, accounting, financial analysis, investment, and taxation. It enables students to understand the functioning of firms and organisations within an open economy, including the factors influencing profit and market value and the role of finance in business success. The programme develops an understanding of economic relationships and interdependencies and is suitable for graduates of various types of secondary schools. Its aim is to prepare graduates primarily for employment in the corporate sector (finance and accounting), as well as in the public sector (e.g. tax authorities, regional and municipal administrations) and financial institutions (banks, leasing companies, insurance firms).
