The study programme is designed for graduates of bachelor's degree programmes in fields such as social work. Graduates of the programme acquire knowledge and skills to develop civil society in the role of helping professions at the level of organisations, municipalities, and public administration in an international context.

Submit an electronic application and a certified copy of a bachelor’s diploma in a helping profession in English, or its official translation into English. Graduates of Bachelor’s programmes completed in Czechia or Slovakia submit only a certified copy of the diploma. A bachelor’s degree in a helping profession may be replaced by another bachelor’s degree plus proof of three years of professional experience in a helping organisation. Attach a certified copy of the Bachelor’s diploma as a PDF from authorised conversion and a master’s thesis project proposal of 5,400 characters including spaces. The proposal states the thesis objective, current knowledge, expected structure, methods, sources, the applicant’s name and date of birth.

Key social science theories, including their historical development and philosophical foundations. 3. Application and adaptation of social science theories and research methodes for work in helping organisations and supporting local communities' development. 4. Knowledge of ethics and religions, and specific competencies for ethically and culturally competent decision-making. 5. Intercultural communication and global competencies, and the use of modern technologies in helping professions. How the student will apply their skills: 1. Non-profit organisations: Working with local communities, providing social services, humanitarian and development aid. 2. Public administration: Supporting the development of local communities, municipal and regional social policy, and promoting civic engagement. 3. Consulting: Community development, working with families, helping people access services and community resources. 4. Coordination of comprehensive assistance: Community work, involvement in social and political actions, international aid and development. 5. Cultural sphere and public service: The non-governmental, non-profit sector, churches, and religious organisations where a thorough understanding of broader contexts is required..
