The aim of the professionally oriented bachelor?s degree programme in Management and Economics of Sport is to prepare professionals with comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field of economics, management and marketing with a focus on the sport environment. Students' knowledge of basic theoretical and methodological subjects is built and expanded, and professional training and skills within the field are strengthened to prepare students for practice. You will be able to effectively manage sports organisations, plan and implement sporting events and use modern tools for the management and financing of sports projects. Teaching is complemented by lectures from visiting practitioners from the public and private sectors.
Apply for bachelor's degree programmes at the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia can be submitted exclusively in the form of an electronic application. Officially certified annual reports for individual years of study at secondary school in the form of PDFs from authorised conversion or a catalog sheet electronically signed by the principal of the secondary school are included in the application for study. The school-leaving certificate is also included in the form of an officially certified copy in the form of a PDF from authorised conversion. You will be able to: effectively manage sports organisations and clubs, plan, organise and implement sporting events, understand the economics and financing of sports projects, use modern technologies and tools for managing sports facilities, understand marketing and sponsorship in sport, analyse data and trends in sports management, apply the principles of sports legislation and ethics. Graduate destinations include manager of a sports club or organisation, project manager of sports events, a specialist in marketing and sponsorship in sport, coordinator of sports project funding (including EU funds), manager of a fitness centre or other sports facility, entrepreneur in the field of physical education and sport.
