The follow-up Master's degree programme Management of Regional Development (MRD) builds on the Bachelor's degree programme Management of Regional Development and Tourism. It deepens the students' knowledge in basic theoretical subjects and provides students with a broader knowledge of the core subjects and extends their knowledge in the subjects corresponding to the profiling foundation. The MRD programme introduces students to the issues of the region in a broader context, therefore including not only the spatial economic and social, but it also covers the environmental aspects of regional management and tourism, which is an important activity of the region.
Officially certified annual reports for individual years of study at secondary school in the form of PDFs from authorised conversion or a catalog sheet electronically signed by the principal of the secondary school are included in the application for study. The school-leaving certificate is also included in the form of an officially certified copy in the form of a PDF from authorised conversion. The programme prepares professionally, methodologically, and practically equipped graduates capable of independent decision-making in regional development. Graduates of the follow-up programme in Regional Development Management acquire competencies for qualified work at regional, national, and international levels in public administration, local government, non-profit organisations, EU institutions, and tourism-related organisations. Typical career paths include project manager, development project specialist, PR and administrative specialist, quality and risk management professional, customer service manager, and specialists or methodologists in regional development within public administration. Graduates may also work as analysts of territorial development, experts in public administration coordination and reform, or specialists in regional tourism.
