The study programme Fishery combines knowledge from general subjects with a professional and practical technological focus in the given area. The graduate will gain professional knowledge in the biological-ecological relationships of aquatic organisms, modern technologies in fish farming, fishery management of open waters, basic management of water protection and water management, including related legal provisions and legislation in fisheries, water protection and water management.
1. Choose your study programme. 2. Submit your e-application. 3. Pay a fee of CZK 700. 4. Don't forget the attachments: • If you wish to study a bachelor study programme, submit your secondary school reports and certificate of completion of secondary education. • If you wish to study a combined study programme, submit your CV and cover letter. 5. Wait for the results of the admission procedure. For full‑time students who enrol in the programme, an adaptation course will take place in September 2027. The detailed admission requirements for the bachelor’s and follow up master’s programmes are set out in the Dean’s Measure.
You learn to: basic knowledge of of biological-ecological relationships of aquatic organisms, use modern technologies in fish farming, management of fishing water areas, to be familiar with the legislation of basic management of water protection and water management, including related legal provisions and legislation in fisheries, water protection and water management. You can become: Independent Fisheries Technician, Fish and Waterfowl Farmer, Ornamental and Aquarium Fish Farmer, Fishfarmer, Hatcher.
