New students are admitted once a year, with entrance examinations usually in June. 1) Submit an electronic application via IS STAG. 2) Submit a separate application for each follow-up Master’s programme. 3) Pay the admission fee (CZK 700). 4) Upload a medical certificate confirming health fitness. 5) Submit a notarised Bachelor’s diploma copy as an officially authorised converted PDF. 6) Complete the written entrance test required by the programme. 7) Applicants are ranked by score and admitted until capacity is filled. 8) Results are published on the faculty website. 9) You may request a Dean’s review of the decision within the deadline.

Study

Students will learn to provide care for patients with acute and chronic health conditions, including both physical and mental health problems, in hospital and community-based settings, protect, maintain, restore, and promote the health of individuals and groups, while supporting their autonomy and independence in physical and psychological functioning, taking into account psychological, social, economic, and cultural differences, provide individualised nursing care and support to individuals and families, apply knowledge from nursing, medical, and social sciences in professional practice, design and implement measures aimed at health promotion and maintenance. Career opportunities include positions such as Registered Nurse (General Nurse).
