This three-year study programme is focused on students who wish to gain knowledge of linguistics and master academic skills and intercultural competence. During your studies, you gain knowledge of linguistic, cultural and general linguistic concepts and methods. They master the communication in Anglophone and other cultures, and learn what cultural relations and strategies influence the use of English as a global language. You can carry out a comprehensive language analysis of both written and spoken language. Moreover, they focus on educational and psychological topics. After graduation, students have the possibility of continuing their studies in the Master's degree programme Teacher Training in the English Language for Elementary or Secondary School.
