This study programme educates experts who help people to become independent and are able to lead a normal life without the help of others. You learn how to advise patients on how to become independent,whether during normal daily activities, leisure activities or in the exercise of their profession. As occupational therapists, you learn how to work with people who suffered a serious illness or injury, and with children suffering from developmental disabilities, as well as with elderly or socially disadvantaged clients.

Students become familiar with occupational therapy methods related to musculoskeletal and internal systems. Based on the knowledge gained, they know how to prepare a long-term occupational therapy plan,and propose appropriate compensatory aids and activities, as well as aids removing barriers and supporting integration into normal life. After graduation, you can find employment in medical and rehabilitation institutes, social care facilities, home care agencies, nursing homes, geriatric facilities, educational facilities for disabled children and youth, retraining courses for people with disabilities, sheltered workshops, and also in companies that are engaged in the production and distribution of assistive technology.
