This Master's study programme provides its students with a deep insight into political science as an academic discipline. It is focused on political science, development and regional studies. Students can specialize in nationalism, radicalism, European studies, European public policy, economic geography, or regional development. The programme includes courses focusing on the practical use of acquired theoretical knowledge and skills.

You gain in-depth knowledge of political science and its research areas, such as political partisanship and civil society. You learn how to find a suitable method for an analysis of a particular problem within a political system. You can use their knowledge of individual segments of political science, and understand and reflect on the form and consequences of policies and approaches to social and political problems. Based on their experience with academic texts, you can develop assessments and proposals concerning local, national or international political issues. After graduation, you can find employment in state bodies, public administration, international organizations and the non-profit sector. They can also work for political parties, in the media, public relations, marketing, and project management.
