Study

Graduates of the program will acquire specialized knowledge, both from basic theoretical courses in general education at a level that enables their practical application, and from specialized engineering disciplines. Through specialized core courses, graduates will acquire professional skills in subjects focused on the construction, movement, operation, and reliability of vehicles, as well as modeling, technology, control, and the economics of processes occurring in transportation systems. Graduates will be able to actively use specialized terminology, will understand the laws governing the movement of vehicles on transportation routes, and will master the principles of design, operation, and reliability of vehicles and transportation-technology processes within transportation networks. They will master the main principles of scientific methods used in the field and will be able to apply some of their basic variants in practical contexts. Graduates will be able to prepare, conduct, and compile a report on the results of a laboratory or technical experiment, verify new production processes, and collaborate on the implementation of technological changes and innovative activities. Graduates will be qualified to work in various mid-level technical and technological positions within companies operating public and private transportation, in design offices engaged in the development and innovation of transportation vehicles, and in public administration. The program draws on extensive collaboration with industry partners both in organizing and delivering instruction and in addressing real-world technical challenges through seminars and, in particular, bachelor’s theses.
