Are you interested in artificial intelligence, supercomputing, quantum technologies, and advanced materials? Do you want to be part of innovations used in electronics, semiconductors, optics, and modern energy systems? Information Technology in Material Science connects materials science, physics, chemistry, and computer science to help you understand, model, and develop cutting-edge materials and technologies. From data analytics and machine learning to virtual reality and high-performance computing, you will gain practical experience with the digital tools that are transforming research and industry.
Applications are submitted online through the VSB–TUO Electronic Application System. Applicants select their study programme, complete the required information, and upload all mandatory documents. After submitting the application and meeting the admission requirements, they are included in the admission procedure.
Graduates possess a unique combination of expertise in materials science, physics, chemistry, and information technology. They are skilled in data analysis, artificial intelligence, modeling and simulation of physical processes, and the use of advanced computing technologies, including high-performance and quantum computing. They can design and characterize modern materials and components, work with state-of-the-art laboratory and computational tools, and lead research and development projects in areas such as electronics, optics, energy technologies, and advanced manufacturing.
