VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
The goal of the two-year master’s program in Robotics and its specializations (see below) is to train experts with broad theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the areas of designing robotic workstations, constructing robotic systems, service robotics, and their subsystems. The curriculum is designed so that graduates are able to independently use advanced modern development, simulation, innovation, and design software systems for these tasks and to apply the acquired knowledge and skills to the design, development, and implementation of both simple and complex systems utilizing industrial, service, or collaborative robots, taking into account the Industry 4.0 concept. Graduates will find employment as designers, engineers, and development specialists.
Graduates are professionally qualified to work in a variety of positions—including design, engineering, and development—as well as to lead teams in these areas.
