Geotechnics and Underground Construction is a multidisciplinary study programme focused primarily on: • foundation engineering of structures • stability and remediation of slopes, embankments of transport infrastructure, and earth-fill dams • tunnels and other types of underground structures • assessment of transport processes in rock and soil environments, including thermal processes associated with geothermal heat exchangers • engineering seismology • controlled blasting and its effects
